Dr. Scott R. Barlow
American Heart Association Training Site Director
As The CPR School's Training Site Director, Dr. Barlow oversees the operational aspects of the company to ensure quality methods of training are being delivered in accordance with the most up-to-date, cutting edge guidelines and methods of instruction for CPR, AED, First Aid, OSHA and other safety training as recommended by the American Heart Association (AHA). "We selected the AHA curriculum and guidelines for our safety training because the American Heart Association has historically been known as the gold standard for all types of safety and emergency training and the AHA guidelines allow our students to practice the most evidence-based methods of CPR, AED and First Aid care in the industry." Dr. Barlow completed his bachelor's degree and doctorate at Idaho State University. He instructed AHA courses after founding The CPR School for around 10 years while completing his studies. He completed a residency in the family medicine department at YVFWC in Washington State. He is the region's only residency-trained DNP and now practices family medicine in the Pocatello-Chubbuck area.
